With so many social alleviation schemes being launched by the Narendra Modi lead central government, it is quite obvious now that the government cares for the poor and weaker sections of society. Although, all of these schemes are in their primitive phase and none of them have yet seen any complete implementation, at least the intent of government seems as if they want to do as much as possible for the poor.
Garib Kalyan Yojana is a Poverty Alleviation Scheme, which is primarily a work shop that you can pay and attend. The details of the workshop are as under:
The objective of the workshop is to revive the government’s pro-poor welfare programs. It would also ideate effective ways to implement and maximize the outreach of the welfare initiatives. In this campaign, the senior ministers would be in charge of creating a road map to poverty alleviation and drain down the ideas to the member of parliaments so that the welfare work is initiated at the grass root level.
The effort of the campaign and workshop is to motive and appraise the member of parliaments to help them effectively implement the government run schemes for the welfare of poor in the country.
The Garib Kalyan Yojana was officially launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in April 2015, when he announced that for development of any country, the welfare of weaker and poor people of the country is utmost important. The veteran leaders like LK Advani, Amit Shah, Shushma Swaraj and other prominent personalities were present at the time of launch of the scheme and workshop.
The Garib Kalyan Yojana is a direct war against poverty in the words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With the same intent, the Prime Minister announced the launch of Garib Kalyan Mela across 22 districts in the state of Gujarat itself, which would benefit more than 1.5 lakh prospective beneficiaries
