Why is it advised to breathe through the nose than the mouth?
The nose has tiny hair called cilia which clean the air off dust particles. At back of the nostrils, a mucus lined hollow cavity is present which traps dust and impurities of the air and moistens the air so that the air does not damage the delicate tissues of the lungs. When we breathe through our mouth, the air neither be cleaned nor moistened before entering the lungs.
