Why are some smile plastic and not wooden or steel?
Plastic represents the artificial in the best form than wood or steel which are more close to natural. Moreover plastic is an elastic material which once stretched retains its shape back having some semblance to a smile. A plastic smile thus refers to a fixed smile with no emotions attached to it.
