Anupama
Anupama, fl. early 13 cent., Jaina builder. Daughter of a rich merchant of Chandravati near Abu, she was married to Tejapala who was a minister to the ruler of Dholka, in Gujarat. It was she who advised her husband, and his brother Vastupala to build the great Delwara temple, at Mount Abu. A temple was also built at Girnar on her advice. She also supervised the construction of these buildings.
