Aqiqa Begum
Aqiqa Begum, 1531-39, Mughal princess. Second child of Humayun and Bega Begum, she was born at Agra. She accompa-nied her mother to Gwalior in 1534. She was lost at the battle of Chausa on 27 June 1539 when Humayun was defeated by Sher Shah, and compelled to flee. Her mother was also captured.
