Bibi Bai
Bibi Bai, 1554 Afghan princess. Sister of Sultan Muhammad Shah Adil, or Adali, she was married to Islam Shah Sur (d. 1553). In May 1954, after the death of her husband, his brother, Muhammad Shah, wanted to murder her infant son Firuz. She tried to defend her child, presenting her own body to the dagger, but her brother thrust her aside, seized the child and severed his head in her presence.
