Gulbadan Begum
Gulbadan Begum, 1523-1603, Mughal princess. Daughter of Babar by Dildar Begum, and sister of Humayun, she was married to Khizr Khan, who became the governor of Lahore (1556) and later of Bihar (1556). She is the author of the celebrated Humayun-namah, a biographical account of her brother. She also made a hazardous voyage to Mecca in 1575.
