Ammu Swaminathan
Ammu Swaminathan, 1894- , political and social worker. A native of Kerala, she was associated with the Indian National Congress since 1930. She was elected to the Central Legislative Assembly in 1945 and was a member of the Constituent Assembly. She was also a founder-member of the All India Women’s Conference, and represented India at many international conferences.
