Mohammed All Jinnah
Mohammed All Jinnah, (1876-1948). Indian Muslim politician. After studying law in England, Jinnah re-turned to India and entered politics in 1906. From 1934 he was elected annually as president of the Muslim League, in which role he pressed for the creation of an independent state for Indian Muslims. In 1947, when Pakistan came into existence, he was its first head of state.
