The need and value of physical exercises
Human life is full of frets and frowns. Only a man of sound health can fight against disease, poverty, misfortunes, and other furies of nature. Physical fitness solely depends on physical exercise. It is sheer folly to believe that medicines and tonics maintain sound health. Physical exercise alone provides us with lasting energy. It is a sure remedy for all the physical maladies. It is an admitted fact that certain chronic diseases like asthma or constipation can be cured only through physical exercise coupled with medical treatment. Take it for granted that every form of physical exercise is based on some scientific principle. Hence every type of proper exercise must do some good to the body. Physical exercise bestows on us health, vigour and energy. Our country needs strong and healthy citizens to guard our freedom, because a nation of weaklings is doomed to be the slave of others. Physical exercise alone will make us physically and mentally strong and fit.
