A Nightingale in a Cage
There was once a nightingale in a cage who used to sing only during night hours. An owl, who heard him singing was very much surprised and enquired the reason behind it.
“I was trapped during the day time while singing,” said the nightingale. Thus, I took a lesson from this incident and learnt to be more careful and sing only after sunset.”
“Now it hardly matters since you are already in the cage,” said the owl. “Only if you been careful before you were trapped, you would not have been seeing this day.”
