The Sole and the Hearing
Once upon a time, a loud argument broke out in the sea as to which fish was the fastest swimmer. The dispute grew to such an extent that a fish race had to be organized to settle the matter once for all amongst the competitors was the sole, a very arrogant fish.
When the race was over, the little herring was declared the winner. The highly irritated sole remarked with its mouth twisted with jealousy, “Huh! That common little fish”. And ever since its mouth has remained twisted.
