How did cooking of food begin?
Early man ate raw and uncooked food. The discovery that cooking makes food tastier and last longer must have coincided with the discovery of fire. It is possible that some piece of raw meat must have got roasted in the fire. When the man saw that their meat smelled and tasted better than the raw meat, he must have started to cook his meat in the fire. The method of boiling or steaming food must have started after the invention of pots and other cooking vessels.
