Indira Gandhi
Indira Priyadarshini Gandhi was born to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Kamala Nehru on November 19, 1917. She was the Prime Minister of India for three consecutive times and a fourth time from 1980 till 1984. She was the first and only female prime minister. She was the only ancestry of the Nehru dynasty and spent her childhood in a deeply political atmosphere. She was involved in the Indian independence movement since 1941. Informally, she assisted her father as a personal assistant in the 1950. Her charm, charisma and intelligence made her a potent statesperson. She is known as Iron Lady of India.
