Safety
Safety means being free from harm, and free from the risk of future harm as well. There are several different precautions that we can take to stay safe.
Safety in the workplace. In the office, always follow guidance on how to use equipment and watch out for steps or things that you might trip over. When it comes to industrial safety, only operate machinery if it has been safety checked and if you are trained to do so. Observe all health and safety regulations and wear protective clothing if you need to.
Safety on the roads. Follow the highway code, do not drink and drive and make sure to look for oncoming vehicles before crossing the road.
Safety and health. Looking after your health is an important aspect of staying safe. Boost your immune system with a diet rich in vitamins, exercise regularly and get regular medical checkups.
Safety at home. Keep sharp objects away from children. Switch off hot stoves and irons when they are not in use. Make sure to educate your kids about the dangers of things like high windows and electricity.
Stay safe online. Keep all your accounts password protected, and change your passwords regularly. Use child safe filters to stop your kids from accessing inappropriate content.
Conclusion. It is easy to stay safe if you take a few precautions.
