Vedic People
Vedic people were mostly referred to as the Indo-Aryans. These groups had established themselves in the Saraswati and Ganga valleys by 1500 B.C.
The thoughts and religious practices of Vedic people are available to us in the collection like Samhitas, Brahmanas, Aranyakas and Upanishads, etc. It contains considerable amount of information regarding knowledge of arts, crafts, science, plant and animal lives and their treatment.
The Vedic people mainly depended on agriculture. They worshiped various forms of nature. The Vedic society had an agricultural basis that was dominated by religious rites and sacrifices.
