Dildar Begum
Dildar Begum, 1511-27, Mughal princess, one of the wives of Emperor Babar. Neither her parentage, nor her marriage is mentioned by Babar in his memoirs. She bore five children to Babar—Gulbadan, Gulrang, Gulchihra, Hindal, and Alwar. She is referred to with great respect by the historians, as also by her daughter Gulbadan Begum in her famous Humayun Nama.
