Gulrukh Banu
Gulrukh Banu, 1660, Mughal princess. Daughter of Shuja, a brother of Atli angzeb (d. 1707), she was betrothed to his son, Muhammad, at Agra, in December 1652, when the two brothers formed on alliance against Dara Shukoh. She was 13 at the time.The marriage could not take place because both Aurangzeb and Shuja, themselves fell out in the war of succession. She followed her father in his escape to Burma, and is believed to have been killed there, along with the entire party.
