Lilavati Munshi
Lilavati Munshi, 1899-1978, writer, and political and social worker. Born in a prosperous Jain family of Ahmedabad, she was married at the age of 14 to one Lalbhai Trikamlal Seth. The marriage proved a failure and ended in separation. She then took to writing which brought her in contact with Kaniyalal Maniklal Munshi who was quite well known then as a novelist and a Congress leader. After the death of her husband, she married.
