Madhav Vinayak Kibe
Madhav Vinayak Kibe, 1885, social worker. Born at Kolhapur, in Maharashtra, she was married to Sardar Madhavrao Kibe. She was closely associated with Mahatma Gandhi and Sarojini Naidu in the cause of Harijan uplift, and continued to be an active social worker right upto her old age. She was a member of the Legislative Council of Indore from 1941 to 1947, was intimately associated with Hindi and Marathi literary societies.
