Mukhyapan Devi
Mukhyapan Devi, 1849, Rani of Sa’nbhalpur. She was the widow of Naran.jan Singh, the ruler of Sarnbhalpur, who died in 1849, without leaving any male issue. She took over the administration of the State in her own hands, but her claims were set aside by Lord Dalhousie and the State was taken over by the British.
