Frank Sinatra
Frank Sinatra, full name Francis Albert Sinatra (1915— ). US singer and film actor. He began his singing career on the radio and with bands such as the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. His popular recordings include ‘My Way’ and `Night and Day’. Sinatra has also starred in a number of films including From Mere to Eternity (1953), for which he won an Oscar. Though he has given several `farewell’ performances, he has continued to record and give live performances into his late seventies.
