Isaac Stern
Isaac Stern, (1920- ). US violinist, born in Russia. Stern studied in San Francisco and made his debut there at the age of 11. He has toured all over the world and is widely regarded as one of the greatest living violinists. He was appointed to the Legion d’honneur in 1975.
