When were the first “flying saucers” reported?
The first “flying saucers” were reported in 1947 and since then about 40 million UFO sightings have been recorded. The most common sightings are of glowing balls of light moving quickly. There have been reports of crash landing by mysterious objects and of align abductions. In 1948, the US Air Force set up an investigation into UFOs by 1969, when the project ended about 12,000 incidents had been recorded. A quarter were caused by natural phenomena or known objects, but the rest remained unidentified. It has yet to be proved that there are intelligent life forms elsewhere in space.
