Where do we find fiords?
Fiords are a special part of some coastline. They are found in mountainous areas which were most deeply frozen over during the Ice Age, when the huge glacier spread from the north and the south poles, covering the Earth.
In some places, the ice bored deeply into the mountains, making I steep valleys which went into the Earth for many kms.
