Where were the moving houses first formed?
In the 1100s, the Mongols travelled through Central Asia. They lived in tents called Yurts. Yurts had a light wooden frame which was covered with sheets of felt. Sheets were covered with animal fat to make them ; waterproof. It was very smelly inside. Yurts could be put up or taken down within a 1 few hours. They could be moved about 0 on carts pulled by oxen.
