Why are tyre surfaces corrugated and rough?
The surface of the tyres in vehicles is rough and corrugated to increase the friction between the tyres and the road. This gives the tyres a better grip on the road surface and prevents skidding of the vehicles. Smooth tyres can make the speed accidents.
