Why is it that kidneys and gall bladders have stone formation and not any other organ?
Stones are formed in kidneys and gall bladders because of the constituents, which are responsible for the formation of stones, are present only in these two organs. In kidneys, the stones are formed by the precipitation of urinary constituents like oxalate, chromate etc. with a small amount of organic material. Deposition is favoured by a highly concentrated urine. Gall bladder stones are formed from the constituents of the bile cholesterol, bile proportions along with other organic materials.
