Respected Sir,
With due respect, I wish to draw your kind attention towards the problems faced by students due to unavailability of textbooks on time. We expect your suitable action.
My daughter studies in Std. IX in a local high school in Mumbai. Since last two years, students are facing unhappy times due to the unavailability of textbooks in the beginning of their new academic year. As the textbooks are not published on time, they are not available in markets. Although the school starts in mid-June, the books remain unavailable in the bookstores until September. Teachers are forced to carry out the studies without the course books. This makes studies difficult and inconvenient. Students lose interest in understanding new things and fail to grasp different concepts in detail.
As studies become slow due to wastage of initial time, teachers have no other option but to complete the portion as fast as possible later in the year. Most importantly, students fail to cope up their studies in haste.
Therefore, I most humbly request you to take some serious steps for timely printing, publication and availability of the textbooks.
