High Competition
Today we are living in the modern age. High competition, lack of time, speed, tension, stress are the features of this age. People don’t have time to eat good food. So, they eat fast food. Youth are greatly stressed due to cutthroat competition and consumerist culture. Everywhere there is competition. If someone wants to get himself admitted in a good school or college, he has to perform nearly 100%. Seats are the limited number of applicants are huge. Everyone has to face competition. If someone has to find a good job he has to face a stiff competition. The consumerist culture is also increasing the stress. We cannot progress only by using a large number of goods and services. If we keep our consumerist attitude unabated we will indirectly damage the environment also. It is good that there is competition, but it is worst to take stress because of the competition. Be ready to take on competition but be relaxed also. If you fail in one competition it does not mean that you are inefficient. Don’t feel disturbed, life gives a lot of opportunities. Do not spoil this wonderful life by indulging in cutthroat competition and consumerist culture.
The world is full of literature and good books. Read them to avoid tension and to keep away from consumerist attitude. It will give you knowledge also and help in combating the stress. Participate in stress bursting camp also. Learn the techniques of self-control and you will feel good.
