Cruelty towards Animals
Once I was in Bangalore, I was passing through market area. The road was full of heavy traffics. The goods and other things were being transported by trucks, tractors and other vehicles. Suddenly, I saw sacks of wheat being carried in the overloaded bullock carts by emaciated oxen. this modern age parents and among the fast means of communication, it was a pity to see such kind of things. The cart driver was very cruel. He was beating the oxen with a long stick. It was a complete inhuman act. This should be stopped immediately. Animals do not resent; it does not mean that they should be subjected to cruelty. They also have right to live. Govt. and agency should come forward to check this practice. They should make laws that animals will not be used in such kind of work. If it is allowed, there should be some load restriction. In this way we can justify the existence of civilized society in which animals also have right to live with honour.
