Electra and Her Suitors
In the constellation of Taurus, Aldebaran the most luminous star, fell in love with Electra, the most enchanting star of the Pleiades. Aldebaran was unaware of Alcyon, a rival suitor of Electra and came to know about him only when he attacked his herd of camels on the way.
These two aspirants are still fighting with each other and even now, on calm nights, one can see pale blue Electra followed by red Alcyon and then by Aldebaran with his herd of heavenly camels making up the constellation of the Hyades.
