Shila-Mahadevi
Shila-Mahadevi, 8th cent., Rashtrakuta queen. She was the wife of Rashtrakuta king, Dhruva, and ruled conjointly with him. She wielded extensive powers, and was very generous towards learned Brahmins. She was also reputed to be a poet.
