Rod Laver
Rod Laver, (1938- ). Australian tennis player. He won the Wimbledon men’s singles four times and became the only player to win the Grand Slam (the Australian US, French, and Wimbledon championships) twice, in 1962 and 1969. Between these dates he was barred from Wimbledon for his professional status.
