Sub.: Rash driving by the people
Through the column of your paper, I wish to draw the attention of the concerned authorities about the rash and reckless driving by the people in our city.
The fast moving trucks, buses, Scooters, bikes have become menace to the people of this area specially the bike riders which can be seen daily in every newspaper front page, the news about the road accident. This rash driving has caused death to nearly 50 people in six months.
With this letter, I want to draw the attention of the concerned authorities to strengthen the law and also to make new laws and punish those who do rash and reckless driving.
The problem cannot be tackled at the government level alone. People will also have to understand this. Through this column, I make an earnest appeal to the government and public to take this problem seriously.
