A Philanthropist
A philanthropist loves entire humanity. His love leads him to feel how the world is steeped in misery. The problem of human suffering torments him. He gladly bears the burden of the weak.
As thus our hearts expand, we come to a stage when we no longer recognize artificial boundaries of territory, of external circumstance. The bar of color and cast is removed. All human beings are the children of the one God – the God of Highest Love.
The dignity in being born human is higher than any that the world can confer upon us. An honest man’s greatest privilege is to serve his fellowmen. It is through love of man that a philanthropist attains to the love of God. The best way to love God is to love His creatures.
