Mother’s Day – May 13
Mother’s Day is a day in which people celebrate their mothers. Mother’s day falls on a different day of the year in different countries across the world. In India and US, for instance it is the second Sunday in May. In the UK, it is the second Sunday in March. However, everywhere the message is the same.
How the day is celebrated? Gifts are given, mothers are given cards, or children take their mothers out for special treats.
For all ages. Everyone can celebrate mother’s day – not just children but older people who want to honor and remember their mothers.
The counterpart for fathers. Father’s Day is the counterpart to Mother’s Day. On this day, people treat their fathers in a similar way by giving them cards, gifts and treats.
Just one day? Honoring mothers should be something we do every day of the year!
