Time and tide wait for no man
Time means opportunity. It appears after a long interval. If you clutch it, success is yours, laurels are yours. If you don’t heed it, it will not wait for you and disappear. And don’t forget that an opportunity missed is an opportunity lost and cannot be recalled again. If time is squandered, life itself is wasted. Opportunities only come once in a blue moon and it is the duty of man to avail himself of them then and there. Today is very important. Don’t trifle it away. If it is lost, you will be definitely a loser. Seize today. Make the most of it. Exploit it. if you neglect it, it won’t wait for you and vanish, never to come back to you again. Time is life itself. Every moment counts. Every moment should be put to maximum use. One should cultivate the habit of doing everything in time. One should not put off till tomorrow what one can do today. One should live in the present and make hay while the sun shines. One should realize that time, like the tide, waits for no man.
