The Bald Huntsman
A man who had lost all his hair bought himself a wig made out of real human hair. As the huntsman was riding over a field, a gust of wind blew his top had from his head. His new wig went spinning off with his hat, leaving him quite bald again! The other huntsmen were worried, because they thought that their friend would be very very angry at what had happened. When they rode up to him, however, they saw that he was laughing, until the tears ran down his face.
“ What‘s so funny about losing your wig?“
asked one of his friends.
“ I was just thinking
“ laughed the huntsman,
“ if the hair that wig was made from could not stick to the head it belonged to, how could I think it would stick to mine?“
