Khudiram Bose
Khudiram Bose was an Indian Revolutionary. Khudiram was born on 3rd December 1889 in a village of Midnapore district. He lost his parents in his childhood and he was brought up in the care of his sister and brother-in-low. After completion of his primary education he was admitted to collegiate school in Midnapore.
Satyendra Nath Bose, a teacher of this school inspired and led him to the ‘Independence Movement’ of India. He devoted himself whole-heartedly in the revolutionary activities led and organized by Sri Arabinda Ghosh, Barindra Kumar, Satyendranath and others.
Khudiram Bose and Prafulla Chaki took the task of murder of Kingsford, an English Magistrate. They took the right attempt but they failed to murder. Khudiram was arrested and he was sentenced to death by hanging.
