Amrita Pritam
Amrita Pritam, 1919- , Punjabi poet and writer. One of the most well known of the modern Punjabi writers, she is the author of over 15 novels and many poems. Her romantic autobiography : Rasidi Ticket (`Revenue Stamp’) has also been translated into English.
