Chakravarty, Renu
Chakravarty, Renu, 1917- , political worker. A communist leader of Bengal, she was also elected a member of the Constituent Assembly of India in 1946. She was the deputy leader of the Communist Party after the election of 1952, and was a brilliant parliamentarian. She was also associated with many political and cultural activities.
