Fattoh
Fattoh, 1765, Rani of Patiala. Daughter of Chowdhari Khan, a zamindar of Kalka, she was married t,) Ala Singh of Patiala, and was his only wife. She bore him three sons, all of whom died before her husband. She was a woman of great ability, and immediately on the news of the death of her husband (1765), she proceeded to Ntiala, and installed her grandson, Amar Singh, a youth of 18, as the new ruler, and foiled the attempts of the rival, Himmat Singh, to seize the State.
