Santi Das
Santi Das 1916, revolutionary. Daughter of Devendranath Ghose, she joined the Jugantar party of Bengal while in her teens. She along with her colleague, Suniti, shot dead Stevens, the notorious district. magistrate of Comilla in December 1931, for which both of them were sentenced to transportation for life. She was, however, released in 1937.
