Yogindra Mohini Biswas
Yogindra Mohini Biswas, 1851-1924, Mystic, and follower of Rarnakrishna. Daughter of Prasanna Kumar Mitra, a well known physician of Calcutta, she was betrothed at the age of six or seven to Ambica Charan Biswas who later proved to be. profilgate and soon squandered all his wealth. She retured to the home of her father to stay with her widowed mother, and became a disciple of Ramakrishna in 1885 and came to be called Yogin-Ma. She was initiated into Tantrik cult in her later years by Swami Saradananda at Puri, and led a very austere life.
