Ian Botham
Ian Botham (1955), British cricketer. He made his county debut in 1974 and his Test debut three years later. Although his attacking style as both a bowler and a batsman made him a popular favourite, he was frequently involved in controversy. He held a record number of Test wickets (1986-88) and scored over 3000 runs in Test matches before retiring in 1993.
