When did Air Mail begin?
Air Mail began in Italy, on the 20th May 1917, when during the First World war a mail was sent by air from Turin to Rome and Vice versa.
After seeing the advantages of using aircrafts for sending the mail, all the countries were eager to sue this new method of transport and attack.
All this led to a race to improve and develop aircraft, make them more an d more fast, efficient and safe, to build aerodromes and install safety equipments.
