Sir,
Sub.: Mosquito Menace due to Stagnant Water.
Through the column of your esteemed newspaper, I wish to draw the attention of the concerned authority towards the mosquito menace in our locality. Our area has become a hell and we, the residents of this locality, are leading a very miserable and hellish life.
The roads of the colony are in a bad shape. They have a good number of pot holes and big ditches which allow stagnation of water and these places have become a breeding ground for the mosquitoes. It is adding a bad flavour to the locality. Epidemics many break out anytime. Malaria, Dengu may create havoc at any point of time.
I, therefore, request the concerned authority to look into the matter and take required steps to remove this menace. Water should be pumped out. Kerosene oil may be sprinkled to check the breeding of mosquito.
