Respected Sir,
I would like to draw your attention by writing about reckless use of loudspeakers during public festivals. These noises not only damage our ears but also increase the levels of stress.
In recent times, excessive and irresponsible use of loudspeaker during public festivals has crossed all limits. Thousands of people in the city have to tolerate this by keeping their mouths shut. Requesting the organizers is in vain. The main problem is that the loudspeakers are used at wrong hours of the day. They are even used until late night. At many places old and sick, have to pass sleepless nights. Students cannot concentrate due to the disturbance. Using loudspeakers at the top of their capacity not only creates noise pollution but also other related problems to people.
I humbly request you to take suitable steps by restricting the use of loudspeakers. Precise hours for their use should be decided. Most importantly, their use should be prohibited during afternoon hours and after 10 at night.
I hope that instant action will be taken by your officers to make the surrounding noise free during public celebrations. Your prompt intervention will save the residents from a lot of inconvenience. Thanking you in anticipation.
