Subject: Unhygienic conditions in locality
Respected Sir,
This is to bring to your kind notice about the unhygienic surroundings of our locality. The sweepers do not take their job seriously. They hardly make efforts to sweep our locality on regular bases. Some of them are found in drunken state while on the duty. Since days, a pile of garbage and trash has been collected near one of the corners of the locality. Due to this, mosquitoes have become a major problem. Moreover, gutters are chocked up when it rains.
There are two public toilets in our locality. Both the toilets are not cleaned on regular bases. They give out filthy smell.
With deep concern for the safety and well-being of the families in the locality, I write to seek your immediate attention. If the situation is uncontrolled, it can result to the outbreak of an epidemic. Residents have brought this problem to the light of the Sanitary Supervisor. Unfortunately, no action is taken yet.
I request you to arrange a visit of an officer or pay a personal visit to assess the neglected sanitary conditions of our locality. Your prompt intervention will save the residents from a lot of inconvenience.
